Dr. Wieland Alge is an Austrian technology entrepreneur, investor, and former CEO of phion, which he co-founded and led from startup through a successful IPO on the Vienna Stock Exchange in 2007. After Barracuda Networks acquired phion, he served as General Manager EMEA for them until 2018. His M&A experience spans the full lifecycle of transactions—from company formation and growth financing to acquisitions, integration, and successful exits. Today, as a co-founder of MADiscover and partner at MAD Ventures, he supports corporates in M&A target identification as well as invests in other technology companies.
